Led by drummer Adam Carlson, this tribute to drummer Art Blakey will feature local lions Noah Simpson on trumpet, Machado Mijiga on sax, Matt Sazima on piano, and Ross Garlow on bass. The quintet will be celebrating the creativity and the ferocity of Art Blakey by playing arrangements from throughout the thirty-five year legacy of The Jazz Messengers.
